Wednesday April 22, 1998, in the party hall of Chapultepec Restaurant, in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston, Nuestra Palabra: Latino Writers Having Their Say came into existence.

We are proud to have proven the naysayers wrong all these years. Join us to celebrate our 20th anniversary. --Tony Diaz, founder.
